2020 2nd Annual Cup

The Banyan Cay Resort hosted the 2nd annual Florida Sunshine Cup golf tournament on November 6-7, 2020.
The Florida Sunshine Cup players and families give a huge thank you to Scott Wilson, Director of Golf, the resort staff, and its management team for hosting this event. We are grateful for your contribution in helping these young players achieve their charitable goals. We are truly thrilled to be able to play the first Florida Sunshine Cup at such a fantastic golf destination!

“The West Palm Beach, Florida golf course at Banyan Cay Resort & Golf is custom in every detail. Designed by the legendary Jack Nicklaus, it has the honor of being the 300th course he has personally designed.

The course gets its personality and character from gently moving fairways, landforms, various water features, and sod bunkers that provide both aesthetics and strategy. Generous landing areas embrace the higher-handicapped golfers, while enough spice and complexity around the greens will challenge even the most skilled player’s course management and shot-making.

The Course
The new par-72 design features five sets of tees to accommodate players of all skill levels. The course yardage ranges from 4,800 yards to a championship length, tipping out over 7,200 yards. The practice facility, as well as the course’s opening hole, is located behind the new full-service Banyan Cay Clubhouse. ”
